Patrol Districts The Weld County Sheriff's Office responsibilities cover 4,002 square miles. The county is adjusted and broken down into 4 sections referred to as districts. These districts are designed to include specific communities and the same deputies are assigned to work in these districts on a regular basis. The community policing philosophy has deputies working to be a part of the communities to assist the citizens in resolving the problems that affect the quality of life of that area. Neighborhood watch areas are established throughout the districts. Deputies can provide you with resources whether or not related to law enforcement.
