The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a man caught on camera over the weekend trespassing vehicles and peering into a home while carrying a firearm.

On Sunday, deputies responded to a home off Weld County Road 398 east of Keenesburg for a report of a suspected auto prowl. Residents told deputies they went out to their driveway that morning to find someone had been inside two unlocked vehicles.

The residents checked their security cameras and discovered not only were their cars trespassed, but the suspect had also walked onto their back porch and peered in their windows. The man was carrying a rifle or possibly a shotgun.

The man, described as white, tall and skinny, with scraggly, medium-length brown hair and a possible tattoo on the upper right arm, traveled to the home in a newer, single cab white Dodge pickup with a flat bed.

Anyone with information about the suspect is asked to call Deputy Fischer at (970) 400-4101.

Deputies are working on obtaining additional video of the incident. It will be released as soon as it is available.
