The Weld County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public’s help identifying a man and a woman who on Friday trespassed three vehicles in the Del Camino area.
Deputies responded about 6:30 a.m. Friday to the vehicle trespass report in the 10600 block of Forester Place, which is located in unincorporated Weld County about seven miles east of Longmont. The caller told dispatchers he went out to his car about 6 a.m. that morning to find three doors and his trunk were propped open.
Upon further inspection, the caller said it appeared someone had searched his vehicle including the glove compartment, which contained the caller’s eyeglasses and registration. Both items were missing from the car. They were later located on the sidewalk in front of a neighbor’s house.
After speaking with the caller, deputies canvassed the neighborhood and encountered three more victims who had their vehicles trespassed. One of those victims reported missing a gas station credit card issued by his employer.
Two other neighbors contacted deputies to tell them they had security camera footage of the suspects. Both appear to be in their 20s.
The woman is described as having dyed blonde hair with her dark roots showing. She was wearing a long sleeve shirt, sweatpants and sandals, and carrying a backpack with a single over the shoulder strap. The man appeared to be wearing a sweatshirt and long pants, with dark hair of a medium length.
