The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is seeking the public’s help with information about a dark-colored flatbed pickup suspected in the theft of a temporary structure from private property.

On Tuesday, deputies responded to the theft report in the 100 block of Weld County Road 18, just north of Firestone. The victims told deputies they are building a house on the property and use a tan, Rhino brand temporary structure to house various items for the build.

The owners visited the property at 5:30 p.m. Saturday and everything was normal. When they returned about noon Monday, the temporary structure, which was bolted to the ground, had been stolen.

This is the second theft reported at the property. No other items were taken.

Deputies suspect a dark-colored flatbed pickup is involved in the theft. The property owners described it as a 2000s gray Dodge, possibly coated in primer, in poor condition with a welding rig and a diesel tank in the back. Anyone with any information is asked to call Deputy Castillo at (970) 400-4547.
