Weld Sheriff’s Office seeks help identifying vandalism suspect

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance identifying a man suspected of vandalizing a residence at a subdivision near Evans.

About 2:30 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a report of a man yelling, banging on doors and breaking at least one window at a residence at Country Estates, located in the 3500 block of 35th Avenue. The man, who was caught on a security camera, was presumed to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs because he was naked at the time of the disturbance.

The man is described as white, 25-30 years old, standing about 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing about 175 pounds and wearing long dark hair. He is wanted on a felony criminal mischief charge, having caused an estimated $1,000 in damage.
