Burglary Investigation 

Mug Shot On August, 8, 2017, at approximately 5:00pm, Deputies with the Weld County Strike Team, responded to the 3200 block of Grandview Drive, in Unincorporated Weld County, Colorado, on report of a burglary.

 

When Deputies arrived they learned that multiple items, including two Honda XR70 dirt bikes were stolen from the property. An investigation was launched into the theft of these items. During the investigation, Deputies with the Weld County Sheriff’s Office Strike Team, learned of a suspicious vehicle that was in the area, described as a black GMC pickup truck.

 

On August 15, 2017, a deputy with the Weld County Sheriff’s Office, stopped a vehicle matching the description of the suspect vehicle on a traffic violation. Further investigation lead to the recovery of both Honda XR70 dirt bikes.

 

33 year old, Edward Anthony Schill Jr (DOB 03/17/1984) was arrested and charged with 2nd Degree Burglary (F3). He is currently in custody in the Weld County Jail.

 

The Weld County Sheriff’s Office would like to thank the community for calling in the suspicious vehicle, which resulted in the arrest Edward Anthony Schill Jr and the recovery of both stolen dirt bikes.
