Gill Shooting Investigation
On February 6, 2018, at approximately 6:57 pm, the Weld County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a shooting in the area of the 31000 block of 5th Street, in Gill, Colorado.

When deputies arrived on scene, they learned from the reporting party that there had been a verbal dispute between two men outside of a residence and then heard gunshots. Prior to the deputies’ arrival, the unknown victim (who was allegedly shot) and the suspect left the scene. Deputies notified surrounding hospitals checking to see if anyone come in with a gunshot wound. This is an active investigation and information is very limited.

Tips can also be submitted through the Crime Stoppers website at www.crimeshurt.com. Those submitting tips through Crime Stoppers that lead to the arrest and filing of charges on a suspect(s) may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000 from Crime Stoppers.
