Update: Missing Person Rebecca Greenup

 

[Weld County, CO]- On April 2, 2024, the Milliken Police Department began investigating a report of a missing 51-year-old female, named Rebecca Greenup from Milliken, CO. When Rebecca was reported missing, she had not been seen for approximately three days.

On April 4, 2024, the Milliken Police Department teamed up with the Weld County Sheriff’s Office, the FBI, and the Boulder County District Attorney’s Office. Together they located Rebecca’s cell phone due to the concern for her safety. Rebecca’s vehicle was later found. Inside the vehicle was a deceased woman.

The Weld County Sheriff’s and Coroner’s Office are conducting a death investigation into the deceased woman found inside Rebecca’s car. The Weld County coroner is working to identify the woman, and they will release that information when they are able to. Currently, no foul play is suspected, and there is no danger to the Town of Milliken or Weld County communities. The death investigation is an active, ongoing investigation, and no further information will be released.

Mrs. Greenup was not missing three days prior to being reported missing, she was missing approximately 3 days after being reported missing. The sheriff's office apologizes for any miscommunication, we were going off of the information provided to us.
