Weld County Detectives Investigating a Shooting Stemming from a Party

[Weld County, CO] Weld County Sheriff’s Office detectives are investigating a shooting where two victims were taken to a local hospital. Both victims are expected to survive.

Around 12:51 A.M. WCSO patrol deputies along with several tri-town agencies responded to a residence in the 10100 block of WCR 19 where a party was taking place.

The scene is actively being worked, and there is no danger to the community.

Update Issued 12/7/25 at 10:55 A.M.: Weld County Sheriff’s Office detectives initially thought there were two victims in this case. They have now confirmed there is only one victim, a 22-year-old male. They thought there was a second victim in this case, but that individual was reacting to the stress of the incident and is not injured. Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding this case, and no arrests have been made as of the writing of this update.
