Published on March 23, 2026
[Weld County, Colo.] On March 8, 2026, patrol responded to a traffic complaint around mile marker 48 on Interstate 76 around Keenesburg. The reporter advised the suspect, a male driver, was unclothed and allegedly masturbating while driving. The reporter said the suspect was supposedly, purposefully matching his vehicle speed; when the reporter slowed down, so would the suspect.
A Keenesburg police officer stopped a car at mile marker 38 and Interstate 76 (westbound) that matched the suspect’s vehicle description and identified the driver as 35-year-old, Omar Rodriguez.
During their investigation, WCSO deputies discovered five other separate calls for service dating back to Nov. 18, 2025. The call descriptions were similar in nature to this event, around the same general area, and mostly described a similar vehicle description of the car Rodriguez was stopped in.
Rodriguez was arrested on suspicion of indecent exposure (six counts).
Rodriguez was released from the Weld County Jail on March 9, on a $7,500.00 cash/surety bond.
