[Greeley, COLO.] A 46-year-old Greeley man is facing additional charges after Weld County deputies arrested him on active warrants.
Yesterday, shortly after 12 p.m., members of the Weld County Sheriff’s Office Strike Team observed a vehicle near 10th Street and 24th Avenue in Greeley. The vehicle’s registered owner is associated with Oscar Campos, who was known to have two active arrest warrants.
After deputies positively identified Campos walking near the vehicle, they arrested him for the warrants. During a search of Campo’s person, after his arrest, deputies discovered what they suspected were illegal narcotics which later tested presumptive positive for methamphetamine and M-30 counterfeit fentanyl pills. A stolen firearm was also recovered.
